An ancient story related to the Chintaman Ganesh Temple
On the death anniversary of his father, King Dasharatha, Lord Rama performed Pind Daan as a sign of worship. Lord Rama used to reside here during his exile in Satyayuga. At the same time, Mother Sita felt extremely thirsty. After this, brother Lakshman shot an arrow into the ground, due to which a stepwell was formed and a stream of water started flowing from it. It is said that Mother Sita drank this water to break her fast. Of these, Lakshman Ichchaman, Siddhivinayak, and Chintamani started worshiping Lord Rama.
About an 80-foot-deep stepwell built by Bhai Laxman in front of the Chintaman Ganesh temple still exists. We call it Laxman-Stepwell. Every devotee who comes here definitely has darshan of Babari. A large number of devotees from all over the country come to Chintaman Ganesh Temple.

As a result, the families of these people travel to Chintaman Ganesh Temple to perform the marriage ceremony. After marriage, husband and wife have darshan of Lord Ganesha here. Importance of Til Mahotsav:
Offering sesame seeds to Lord Ganesha on Til Chaturthi of Magh month is considered to have special significance in mythology. Every devotee who comes here offers sesame seeds to Lord Ganesha. On Tilli Chaturthi, Chintaman Ganesh Temple organizes a grand festival. A grand feast of 1.25 lakh laddus is organized. On this day, devotees travel long distances to get the darshan of Lord Ganesha. Here, villagers and devotees prepare food items like Khichdi, Halwa, and Jalebi and serve them to the devotees as Prasad. On the day of Til Chaturthi, all the devotees become free from worries just by seeing Lord Ganesha here.
